The amount of sales is down a whopping 26%.

The Maui real estate market prices were down approximately 7% while the amount of sales were down about 22%.

The Big Island Hawaii real estate market prices were down approximately 50% for number of sales. That is pretty substantial. Wonder how bad that market is going to be hit? There was an agent on the big island named Katie that said “It’s Time to Buy!”. Not sure if we would agree with that.

The Kauai real estate market is down for number of sales about 40% year to date. That is huge too.

There are some agents out there telling their clients it is a great time to buy and that we have hit the bottom. I would be very careful suggesting that as we are in a major financial crisis and it all depends on the new president and the policies he tries to push. If the new president raises taxes on anyone or business heading into a recession the markets may collapse.

Time will tell. There are some good values out there if you do your homework. Happy house hunting.

Thanks to Jeff Manson of American Dream Realty sharing his time with us.

It has been declining in prices now for over 3 years.

Utah is located in the western region of the United States. Bounded by Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and Nevada, Utah is the 13th largest state by area and 34th largest by population. Its capital and largest city is Salt Lake City. According to Census data, Utah is the sixth fastest-growing state in the nation. Such growth means you should be able to find fantastic value in the Utah real estate market.

While most Utah residents live in or near Salt Lake City, large portions of the state are rural and uninhabited. This blend of urban and rural provides many choices for those seeking Utah homes for rent. In addition to Salt Lake City, other major cities include Provo, West Jordan, Layton, Ogden, Brigham City and Nephi. Search these areas for Utah foreclosures.

Known as the “Beehive State,” Utah is home to the Colorado Plateau, the Great Basin, and the Rocky Mountains. Scenery is varied and beautiful throughout the state. Because Utah is high in elevation, the climate is arid. Mountainous areas can receive anywhere from 350 to 500 inches of snow each year, while the Salt Lake City region generally receives 60 inches of snow.

Utah real estate agents in Salt Lake City can help with real estate transctions in the Salt Lake county real estate market including Park city houses for rent and Utah apartments for rent..

Tennessee, or the Volunteer State as it is sometimes called, is located in the Southern part of the United States. Bounded by Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Missouri, Tennessee is the 36th largest state by area and the 17th largest by population.

The capital city is Nashville, and that’s where you’ll find the state’s largest metropolitan area. However, Memphis is technically the state’s largest city. Search these areas, or other major cities such as Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Clarksville for deals in the Tennessee real estate market.

With rolling foothills and the Great Smoky Mountains, the state has a spectacular landscape. You’ll be happy you sought Tennessee homes for rent in any of the bustling cities or rural communities. The climate here is described as humid subtropical, except for high in the mountains. The Gulf of Mexico provides warm southern winds, making the summers hot and keeping winters pleasantly mild. No matter the time of year, search for Tennessee foreclosures to get a great deal on a home or investment property in this state.

As the real estate market crashes across the country and the rate in which foreclosures increases many families in Tennessee are faced with loans that are adjusting up. Many families are struggling to make their payments and may be forced to let their homes go into foreclosure just to survive.
